This is a great stretch for the lower back and glutes. Start by lying on your back with both legs bent and your feet flat on the ground. Take a deep breath in and, as you exhale, slowly raise one leg up, keeping your knee bent. Point your toes and flex your foot.

You should feel a stretch in your hamstring and glute, but it will also be great for your sciatic nerve.

Cobra Pose

This is a classic yoga pose, but it's also great for sciatic pain. Start by lying on your stomach with your legs extended behind you. Place your palms on the ground next to your chest and slowly press up, extending your arms.

You should feel a stretch in your back and shoulders. This is a great stretch for lengthening the spine, which can help take pressure off the sciatic nerve.

Reclined Pigeon Pose

This is a great stretch for the hips and glutes. Start by lying on your back with both legs bent and your feet flat on the ground. Bring one knee up to your chest and grab your ankle with your hand.

Keeping your back flat on the ground, slowly straighten your leg and pull it towards your chest to feel the stretch in your glutes.

Child's Pose

This is a great all-over stretch, but it's especially good for the lower back. Start in a kneeling position with your knees apart. Sit back on your heels and then slowly lean forward, placing your forehead on the ground in front of you.

Extend your arms out in front of you and let your whole body relax. You should feel a stretch in your back, shoulders, and hips.
